Sunday's Harry Keough Day at the Monsignor Meyer Room at Soccer Park was a blast!

As Bill McDermott said: "There are people all over the world watching this match. Few if any have two of their National Team Hall of Famers present" (Al Trost and Harry). This is not to mention former USA standout and current USA coach Mike Sorber. And former USA player and ABC broadcaster Ty Keough. And Mr. Soccer himself, Bill McDermott. And a number of other St. Louis Soccer Hall of Famers were present.

The setup at Soccer Park is fabulous. The food was great as was the service. The big screen is unbelievable. Everyone who attended was impressed. Mike Sorber had a great suggestion: The next event on a Sunday morning we need a priest to say a quick Mass to kill two birds with one stone...so to speak. We'll work on it.

The Athletica folks were happy and one of the cooler things was that a game was being played outside during the second half of the Liverpool v Manc Utd game on the screen. We will definitely return. (images courtesy of Bob Osterholt)
