July 27, 2010 - For all of you STLUFC members that like to travel or hear from those that do... We have started a page that will list some of our members soccer related travel adventures. If you have an interesting story and images to share, let us know and we will post them. Take a look at what we have thus far...
July 11, 2010 - Most of you will remember Andrew Santos, one of Man U's most vocal and loyal followers. Andy currently resides in Germany but has kept in touch with the homies here in St. Louis. He had the opportunity to see some of the World Cup games and sends the following images.
June 30, 2010 - I posted some pictures from Tom's recent trip to London, England where he was doing some charity work. Take a look at his selfless devotion to feeding the homeless and hungry in Birmingham's seedier neighborhoods.
June 16, 2010 - Enjoy the videos and pictures from our event at Soccer Park on June 12, 2010. Saint Louis soccer icons Frank Borghi and Harry Keough were on hand for the Enland vs. USA match
June 14, 2010 - Our over 50 players played the annual Missouri State Show Me Games on the same weekend that most of us gathered at Soccer Park to watch the England vs. USA World Cup match. The tournament is held in Columbia, MO and this year it was scheduled in such a way that the participants had the opportunity to watch the World Cup game in the early part of the afternoon before returning to the field of battle late in the afternoon. The final was held Sunday afternoon and our A Team unfortunately came out second best. No gold this year, but we did bring home the silver. >> See the Slideshow<<
June 14, 2010 - The International Institute have set up a special link for us to donate in memory of our friend Ahmed. Ahmed always had a special place in his heart for new immigrants to this country and his restaurant was place where newcomers to this country would come to for advice and help. June 13, 2010 - A terrific gathering at Soccer Park of nearly 400 fans to watch the match between England and the USA. TV crews and reporters were on hand to record the historic event and we'll be posting more pictures and videos as they come in. Nice story in the St. Louis Post Dispatch about the event. June 11, 2010 - It's the World Cup opener and those that could, played hookie and came out to watch the game between Mexico and the host nation South Africa (1:1). A good portion of the Keough clan were on hand to catch the game at OB Clark in Brentwood.

June 10, 2010 - You don't want to miss this Video of our friend Charlie at Tigin's Irish Pub. We hope to see some more of this kind of enthusiasm at the England v USA match this weekend. Psyched!!!!!
June 5, 2010 - It is with much sadness that we report the death of Ahmed Eltawmi. Ahmed was killed on the evening of June 4th in a brutal shooting outside of his apartment building in Maplewood. Ahmed was well liked as both a University City business man and fellow soccer player. On the pitch he is best remembered as a striker with a rifle right footed shot. He has been part of the STLUFC Senior squad for some time. A memorial service is planned at the Daar-ul-Islam Mosque at 1:30 PM on 6/6/2010.

June 6 - 3 PM - I just returned from the Funeral Home and the Memorial Service. The Senior Soccer Community was very well represented. Ahmed had an uncle that lives here in St. Louis along with brothers and sisters that survived him back in Libya. His Footie Family filled part of the void. We will miss him!

The renown sports writer, George Vecsey mentions STLUFC in his blog. Read it and leave a comment! May 25, 2010 - It's back! The STLUFC Forum has been resurrected for the 2010 World Cup. Because of the high level of spam we got under the old forum administration, you will now have to register as a member to access the Forum Posts.
If you registered under the old system, your login will still work for you. If you recently registered as a member, you were automatically eligible to participate. Log in, edit your profile, kick the tires and offer your two cents worth. We appreciate your comments and feedback on our affiliated pubs. May 12, 2010 - We meet at the Fox and Hound in Chesterfield for the Europa League Final between Fulham FC and Atletica Madrid. Only 10 of us were able to get away for the midweek/midday venue to see a valiant Fulham side go down 2:1 in overtime. Take a look at the pictures...April 30, 2010 - Two more pubs have joined our ranks and will provide a "Footie Friendly" environment to the STLUFC visitors. Be sure to identify yourself as a St. Louis United FC member and they may just pour you that first draught on the house. The two newest affiliates are: Flannery's Irish Pub and The Fox and Hound in Chesterfield. Check 'em out!
