| August 1-2, 2009 - The competition in the over 50 bracket in the Mid America Games held annually in Columbia, Missouri gets tougher every year. This year it boiled down to 3 St. Louis teams and a team from Kansas City in the finals. The STL United Seniors managed to secure the Bronze in a very spirited game against another St. Louis team. The gold went to the Mid Rivers team and the silver to a team from South St. Louis. For a larger image of the STL United Senior team, CLICK HERE. August 2-3, 2008 - The two University City Senior teams participated in the annual Missouri State Show Me Games again this year. They widened the field this year and invited all the neighboring states, but it came down to a battle with our arch rivals from Maryland Heights again. The A team failed to grab the "Gold" for the third consecutive year but managed to play well and have a good time anyway. Thanks to all of you that participated, especially those that came to support us as spectators. Take a look at the team pictures...

Come and take a look at a few snapshots and a sampling of Alex's music. |

In 2002 and 2003, the 40+ (Leaning heavily towards 50+) made several trips to Columbia to battle their "Senior Select" team. They in turn visited us here in St. Louis on different occasions. Here are just a couple of pictures from these visits. One taken in Columbia, the other at the Tony Glavin soccer complex in St. Peters.
